The Ultimate Self-Care Investment 🙏
Next Yoga Teacher Training Class starts August 2025
I’m graduating our 10th class for wannabe yoga teachers & yoga immersion students Spring 2025 and I personally just graduated my 300 Hour Teacher Training at Asheville Yoga Center! Yippee!Â
It has been an amazing ride and I’ve learned so much. Becoming a Registered Yoga School, facilitating training, meeting and journeying along so many humans and continuing my own learning journey with Asheville Yoga Center has contributed to my evolution not only as a yoga teacher, but as a human.Â
Read on for more information about our program: ⬇️
This is a hybrid program. There are in person, virtual and homework assignments. More and more of you are signing up to immerse yourself into the world of yoga, deepen your knowledge of yoga and make the investment in your self-care by integrating your learnings into daily life as a human being.
Upon completion, walk away with a certificate, if that is your goal. Otherwise, your life could be enriched beyond earning a teaching certificate as shared in this testimony:
“YTT has been one of the most impactful and influential investments in myself in my adult life. Acquiring the RYT-200 certificate is minimal in comparison to my new appreciation for the history and philosophy of yoga, a deeper dive and understanding of anatomy, curious insight into subtle energy and Ayurveda, confidence in sharing a lifelong passion that’s served different purposes throughout my life, and compassion for self. Above all these gains, I am most grateful for the connection and friendships made within The Studio community.
I hope more education and learning is in my near future and that RYT-500 may be a possibility for me down the road.
Thank you for facilitating this experience! YTT has changed my outlook and perception of life and is altering how I want to experience my time here on earth.”
Science is catching up and validating what the ancients knew all along about the benefits of holistic living and what I like to call “The 3 M’s” – Movement, Mindfulness & Meditation.
Who signs up for this course?
Our graduates have found this training integrates beautifully with what they do now. I’ve had teachers, nurses, psychologists, chief financial officers, CrossFit coaches, personal trainers, real estate agents, equestrians, veterinarians, moms, grandmothers, pastors, acupuncturists, social workers, mental health therapists and even retired folks who simply want to learn more and make an investment in their very being.Â
You’re never too old. It’s never too late. I consider myself a full-time student. There’s so much to learn and each year I offer this training, my learning deepens and for that….. I. AM. THANKFUL.Â
When is the training & What will we learn?Â
If you’d like the in person experience or live virtual, the trainings will largely take place on Saturday & Sunday from 9A – 3P beginning in August 2025 (specific dates forthcoming). Me! Shannon Stricklin, the creator and visionary of The Studio. I quit my 25 year career in the telecommunications industry to open a yoga studio and become a yoga teacher. I’ve been teaching 13 years and have taught nearly 6,000 classes. I’ve practiced yoga for more than 18 years and graduated 10 classes of yoga training students. I am a 500 Hour Registered Yoga teacher, earning my 200 Hour from The Om Place and my 300 Hour from Asheville Yoga Center.Â
I consider my classes a fusion of all the yoga that I love including hatha, restorative, yin, yoga nidra and whatever I create. It’s increasingly important that my classes are inclusive for all humans – including seniors and curvier folks.
Now that I’m well into my 50’s, I’m particularly interested in “aging like a pro” with Yoga and all its accoutrements – including weights.
Plus, I just LOVE teaching and enjoy baking in my love of the seasons, nature, history, & music history into my classes.
I love being a C.E.O – Chief Encourager Officer and I love training others to be one too.Â
How will we learn?
I’ll engage you with an array of yoga classes, interactive presentation slides, videos, demonstrations, observation, experience, discussion, reading assignments, guest speakers and teachers, journaling & quizzes.
